This weekend proved to be a weekend of hungry fish! Fish were feeding from 2′ deep to 16′ deep in the area of the lake we were fishing in.

Lots of catfish action on cut shad, and then I landed my personal best largemouth. Just over 8lbs! It hit a hook loaded with two pieces of cut shad. This is a typical baiting method for our catfishing.

As you can see from the photos, there were plenty of takers on the cut shad!
