Whether you are looking to catch meals or memories, Personal Best Guide Service is ready to help you catch both on Lake Granbury.

All catfishing trips take place on our 2022 Seaark Procat 240, catfishing boat, which is fully rigged out with Humminbird Solix and Helix electronics, Minn Kota Spot Lock trolling motor and Minn Kota Talons. All new and in excellent working order.

You’ll be using professional grade Penn fishing reels and a combination of brands of trophy-grade catfishing rods, all capable of reeling in the fish of a lifetime.

Fresh caught bait(shad) will be the bait of choice, as it is a natural forage item for Lake Granbury’s catfish population. Always caught within hours of our trips, and usually still alive right until we cut it and cast it out!

While not every trip produces trophy class fish, our rate of catching 25-40 pound class fish is well established. In fact, Mike Watkins – owner of Personal Best Guide Service, is the current record holder on Lake Granbury, for blue catfish.
